I launched from a little slipway on the South Uist end of the Eriskay Causeway and was able to sail across past an island with a little lighthouse on it, and on to another little lighthouse and then the Island of Eriskay. It was a gorgeous day with blue skies, blue seas and decent winds, so I was well powered up and having a good time. It takes a bit of getting used to the clarity o the water as it measn you can sea the sands, rocks and seaweeds all the time. There were a few occassions where I dropped off my bard expecting the water to be a couple of feet deep only to find I was way out of my depth...At least it meant I wasn't going to knock my fin off on the rocks.

Nothing too exciting as far as tricks or conditions are concerned, but you can't beat blasting about in the sunshine well powered up in perfect surroundings.
